Textbook Trader Bulletin Board
In an effort to connect stores looking for hard-to-find titles with those
looking to convert dead stock to profit, MBS provides another FREE
business-to-business solution accessible through our Service Center: Textbook
Trader Bulletin Board. TTBB allows stores to post no-value titles to a national
online listing service accessible to other bookstores.
For stores looking to sell books:
Bulletin Board lists the titles you have along with your set selling price for
the duration of your choosing (30-120 days). In addition to the standard
details about the book, sellers can also add notes with information that might
be of interest to buyers.
For stores looking to buy books:
Bulletin Board allows you to search by ISBN, author, title, keyword, or
publisher. If a title has been listed by more than one store, you'll see
individual listings for each store offering the book so you can find the best
deal. When you've found what you're looking for, simply submit your request via
the Textbook Trader Bulletin Board site.
Upon submission of a Bulletin Board request, MBS facilitates the match by
emailing both parties. From this point on, the buyer and seller are wholly
responsible for the transaction, and MBS does not participate in any way in the
commerce between the two stores.
